I read thru a few pages of forums and search, and it seems that you press L+R+SELECT+A to save.

Essentially, that means I don't use the games save, rather, the SD's version of "save."

I'm trying this with Golden Sun, and it doesn't seem to be working.

When converting the GBA games for the SC (SD version), the "save" option is ticked (and Saver Patch.)

The menu is a bit confusing when you press L_R_SELECT_A; it's ambiguous whether the highlighted option is RED or WHITE.  I'm assuming RED is the action I'm doing.

Other than doing what I've done, am I missing something?

Is there a list of GBA games that don't save on SC-SD no matter what?

when you save ingame, the game creteas a .sav file, but it dosen't save that file to your sd card.

so to save that .sav file, you have to press "L+R+SELECT+A" after you have saved normaly inside the gba game.

Golden Sun says, "Unable to detect back-up memory."

What am I doing wrong?

Also I tried this method with Pokemon Emerald and at first it comes up with 'The save file was erased as it was damaged or corrupt.'
Also is pressing the L+R+A+Select supposed to come up with anything in game? When i use this button combo nothing happens in the GBA game so I'm not sure if its done anything. When I run the rom throught the patcher I only select enable save and enable saver patch

PKMN detects a false save because normally the real cart has a battery governing the internal clock, and this isn't support ordinarily on the SC.

Other than the clock never moving, all PKMN games are fine.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

Ah thought it would be a Pokemon problem. Another game with trouble is DBZ Buu's fury. When you try to enter Grand Kai's house it comes up with 'This game will not run on this hardware'. Is this just another one of those games that you have to buy? If so are there many others. Also when you have enables save and saver patch should you get prompted when you use the button combo? Thanks

I played that game having to set it to EEPROM on an emu.  I dont know if this helps because I dont have much experience with the supercard
