Hi, i recently got a supercard lite and have managed to get NDS roms workinbut cannot get gba games to work.

When select it it begins to laod but then goes past the memory like this

30125/1234k

and keeps going

I dont know what is wrong and hopefully some one can help

Thanks

sonicwind

have upgraded to the latest upgrade? and patched all the roms? look in the downloads section for the supercard lite upgrade thing. download it and unpack it.  Then put the upgrade.scu file on your sd card and patch all your roms using the patcher.  This should make them work.

sammyc7

i have the latest firmware and patcher.

Any other reasons cos all my ds games work fine?

  :?

sonicwind

thats really strange.  I would think it was the other way around and you had no passme device but you can play ds so i dunno.  ARe you sure you patched the games correctly? thats the only other solution there is because everything else seems to work for you.

Someone said on another forum, that supercard lites cant pla gba roms

:(

sonicwind

yes it can. they are probably just an m3 fanboy or something. supercard doesn't have the best compatibility but it should be able to play most games.  Look under the gba compatibility to see what games work and which don't before you say they don't work.

sammyc7

Its pokemon fire red or pokemon emerald.

Either of them will do.

Argh this is really annoying

sonicwind

well the compatibility list says that fire red works perfectly so you should try to repatch with the different options checked.

You should select the .gba rom and convert it with the patcher. make sure Compression is not an option. You should get three files, a .gba, a .sav and a .sci. Copy all three so they are in the same folder and the same name. I know for a fact Pokemon FireRed works, I've used it. HOWEVER, there is a patch needed to make it save porperly as it can detect that there's no battery and errors. Here's a link and instructions:
http://www.gbadat.altervista.org/gbadat/tools/gbata7a-en.zip

Open the CLEAN Rom in this, and use the SRAM patcher, it'll make a new GBA file, run THAT one through the Supercard patcher and you'll be able to save without the battery error.

i've looked around and have been getting mixed results

apperantly supercard can run gb/c, nes, PCE, SMS/GG roms...
gameboy and nes work okay (stupid scaling and speed hack screws things up sometimes...)
has anyone gotten sega master or game gear to work? and what's PCE?

M3 lite says it can do snes and famicom too, (wonder if they'll add it to the sclite in firmware or is that not possible) <- or if anyone has a guide to get the snezzi or any snes emu to work (cuz i cant figure it out as of yet)
