So if i got the 80x would there be any in game slowdown? thank you!

ShinaKitsune

It depends on the brand too.
On my 80x i get some slowdown in the bitgeneration games.
Plus 1gb cards are alot cheaper and the faster versions are easier to get, but if you have your mind set on 2gb... your going to be looking awhile esp if you want the whole setup for under 100

if you are just going to play nds games and homebrew than the transcend will do fine (if its anything like mine) if your going to try gba then i have no idea. i just googled the ritek and people seem to be impressed with the speed on it, and it is rated 150x so if you benchmark it for significantly lower than that you can return it to newegg as it being defective (since its not infact 150x) newegg is pretty hassle free with returns for crappy merchendice.

OK i know this is a very noob question but what do you mean by gba? game boy advance?

Also whati m thinking of doing is playing movies and music and hombrew and apps (beup and others) basxicall everything. So which one would choose now that i have given you this info? Or do you know one that is better than the 3 listed above that is still fast? THank You!

ShinaKitsune

yes... gba is gameboy advance.
movies/music and homebrew play just fine on my transcend and i am sure they will play just fine on the others as well, since most homebrew isn't optimized and refined as much as commercial games so they do not tax the memory card as much, again this is most and homebrew is getting more and more advanced by the second.

ok but answer this, if i buy this trnancsend how long will it be till i have to upgrade? And how bad is the in game slowdown? thank you!!

ShinaKitsune

what do you mean upgrade?
the game slowdown from what i can tell is only in gba games, and thats a problem thats inherent to the supercard itself.
