Anyway DeVs IMO your own video shows that the M3 Lite isn't glossy. It just happens to have a shiny plastic that is moreso then the SuperCard Lite's. In your vid you can easily see the shine on the G6 Lite while the M3 Lite only shines when it his the light just right which is exactly what the SuperCard Lite does in other videos.

Im tellin ya there the same gloss. I got it in my hands and am looking at them side by side and there 100000% the same. Guess I will leave it at that, lol.

Quote from: "sonicwind"I mean they released it too late nothing else.  I mean dslink is already out and ez just got this thing on the market.  The old one may have been first but it was completly rushed out they should have waited and released this first.

DS-Link only works with flashed DS or people with the MK4, this works with all DS'.

There's a lot of potential to this cart, and yes I do agree, the old EZ4Lite seemed rush.

WinsunX, fast 2 day shipping from Hong Kong (I think?) to Vancouver on the West Coast of Canada.

When you get time would you mind testing Mario and Lugi: Superstar Saga for GBA and see how it runs. Have you ever used the M3 or G6 and if so is this EZ's GBA support as good?

Re DS homebrew, it should be noted that there is no write support for stuff that uses FAT on the EZ4 line at the moment. Even the read only driver is not in the main homebrew library, stuff has to be compliled specifically for EZ4.  I've run Mario and Lugi: Superstar Saga on my EZ4, works flawlessly...

What nonsense!  I knew the EZ team was known for releasing new products rather than patches for existing ones, but this is just highway robbery.  I'll never buy from them now, even though I was considering getting one for GBA support.  The fact that they are so constantly making new products and calling the old ones obsolete is such garbage.  This is like Windows ME or something...

Well, in my opinion, the analogy is more like early adopter vs. late adopter.  The latter one always get the better of the two but the first one got the look of the "Lite" first.
I agree with you that a new product(s) in 4 months is pretty fast, but I wouldn't use the word obsolete though.  Both the new and the old will be using the same software.  Basically the EZ 4 just got a redesign on the outside (although the Deluxe got more RAM and stuffs).
I also think the fact that EZ released a new product doesn't necessary mean a highway robbery (:D), they're just trying to compete with others with their new dustcover-like shape, although I'm sure that might make some early adopters to feel a bit bad, if they're not used to it already.

EZFlash isn't known for that... NeoFlash is. EZ Team always supports older products. Example: thanx to the last update my ooooooold EZIIPS plays/saves tiny DS ROMs (Tetris, Brain Age, etc) fine.

EZ4Lite is still supported by the software suite, and it's still got top GBA support... it just looks "eh". Still looks better than Neo2 TF.  :D
..4...h.e.a.r.t...6.6.6...

I might get one of these to go with a ds link or something just for the gba :P

Yeah, maybe I should send an email to the EZTeam asking if they could make a Slot2 solution just for GBA games. It'll go great with the DSLink/DS-X and future Slot-1s

Quote from: "DeVS"One thing though, you say:

QuotePros:
1. 1st DS Lite flash cart to have a glossy layer

But my M3 Lite and G6 Lite are glossy too.

actually the ezflash compact/deluxe use the exact same glossy paint as the dustcover themselves... i assure you it the real deal when it comes to glossy

So does the cart fit well?  I mean do you have to jam it in and out like the Supercard?

tennisgy

I think someone mentioned the RAM of ezflash in the opera thread.  Does Opera work on
EZ Deluxe?
360 iXtreme 1.5 E74
Supercard DS One nonSDHC-2GB-Black DS Lite

PharaohsVizier

No it doesn't.  It was me that mentioned it.  I asked the question on the EZ Flash forums too.  They said it could hypothetically work if they had the GBA Union function and a patch.  But they don't.
