Thats the chance you take banning people. I got banned of serverl boards but didn't do anything but try to get unbanned.   I guees the next retrogamming radio show will have a lengthy explainion. It was proably some geeration gimme type that did that.  Will the forums be back?

Oh, I'm sure the forums will be back in some form. It's hard to get a server nowadays that will give you the time and attention you need to run a ship shape ship. The college I attend provide us with a server at designhostsolutions.com, and their tech support is horrible, and slow. So here's hoping that Shane isn't gonna get jerked around. But he's very intelligent, I'm sure he knows what to look for in a server. Hell, he's had all this experience. I have complete faith in him.

We're close ... the sites are answering up now - but without that backend data restoration, most things are still dead.

Yes, the forums will be back.  Everything will be back just as soon as I can get things running again.  Most of it is awaiting the hosts to do my sql scripts.

I knew I had something else to say.

Just recently, the kids over at Gamelife got their forums hacked by one of their own. Even though their show isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread, I've been corresponding with them, and they're good kids. Now you've lost your sites also. There's nothing that pisses me off more than people who feel they need to make a point, or get revenge for something. My parents are like that, too.

I wish to discuss both incidents (Gamelife and RGR's) but want to make sure I have some form of approval from you. I don't wish to add more fuel to the fire, but I merely wish to comment on this in the form of a question.

Naturally, if you're uncomfortable with me even mentioning it, I won't, and will certainly understand any concerns you may have. I will try not to attack anyone specific, god forbid I should cause a similar incident to happen again.

I look at it this way, how many people really watch the show anyway?

Let me know what you think about RGR being mentioned. If you need more info (assuming I was too vague), let me know.

Sorry to hear about the problems BigChris created on the Monroeworld sites Shane. It has been murder for me not to be able to visit your sites these past few days. I really appreciate the fact that you will continue to run your sites after all this.

Say, I posted a question to Shane about mentioning the "incident" on my next show. I came up with a segment where I would ask questions to things I will never understand, and that piss me off. This being one of them, people who feel the need to prove a point or get even because they were insulted or whatever.
