Pocket Kanji compatability

I recently loaded pocket kanji onto my SC Lite, have the jstroke.pdb, kjdef.pdb, and shinonome.pdb on the root directory with it.

i try to load it up and it says:

FAT_init Not OK

anyone know how i can get it working?
rystal white NDSL
DSONE ver.2 + SCL
Kingston Jp 1gb + ATP 1gb
