My supercard doesn't seem to like changes to global.ini - any tips?

Hi,

I've had my Supercard do some odd things twice since I've had it and both times happened after I changed some settings in the global.ini file.
Specifically, I changed the date format from YYYY/MM/DD to MM/DD/YYYY. Also, I changed the time format to 12-hour instead of 24-hour display.

Has anyone else had their Supercard wig out after making such changes?

The first time, the Supercard would start to boot but hang as soon as it tried to display my files (the bottom bar of moonshell didn't display time of day/year info but just something generic).
The second time, the Supercard wouldn't even boot and just said incorrect SD format, turn off the NDS. I was able to fix things with a simple chkdsk /f /r with Windows (which reported that some bad data was present involving a settings file on the microSD).

I guess I'll just avoid changing the global.ini file in the future but, just in case another source for my symptoms is possible, I decided to post here for advice.

Thanks.

it sounds like when you make changes to the global.ini file it get corrupted (which is what the chkdsk fixes), so my advice would be to reformat the MicroSD (after a backup) and then put everything back on, (with the modified global.ini file).

Try that to see if that works.
