1. What are .SCI files?
I'm guessing it has to do with cheat files, but their like 5mb each.

2. I'm unable to see the full cheat text, like "press select to un" then it just ends, how do you read the rest of it?

3. A lot of things in DS Organize aren't working.
For example, the calendar, to do, events, contacts, they all save, but then they dissapear.
But with calendar, I'll type something in like 'school starts', then i'll exit, come back in and it will just be "yay" but with a cross in the y's and the a is the a button.
It saves the doodle pad whichever format you say,  bmp or png, then it will disappear.
So then I go into ds organize directory, and its there but it won't load it.

4. How do you change the temperature to F instead of C on the clock?
I looked at the .ini file but it was like %5.2c, and I tried changing it but it just screwed it up.
I also tried some other options in the .ini file but nothing worked.

5. Does anyone here use screen protectors?
I have a protech for my samsung p2 mp3 player, but you use your fingers for that, so I don't know if the stylus wouldn't work with a screen protector.

6. How do you make homebrew? Like .nds files?
There must be a program to do this, I wouldn't mind trying something easy to start off with.

That's it for now, I'll update/add later.

3. Are you sure you are using the latest DS Organize with DLDI patch enabled? Try a different version.

4. I'm not sure if Fahrenheit is supported?

5. Yes, screen protectors are highly recommended.  Look for Hori or Nintendo brand screen protectors.

6. Most DS homebrew are developed with the devkitPro tool chain which includes a GCC compiler for ARM and plenty of NDS examples. PALIB is highly recommended by developers to make DS programming more straightforward. Also look for the many open source DS projects for more information.

EDIT:bitblt you take away my chance to show off

let attempt those unanswered question.
3 maybe a DLDI bug. good thing I found a workaround.
  1.launch DSO from the menu.
  2.Use DSO to launch itself
3.you should be able to do anything just fine now.
4.just launch MSFORSC.nds to return to menu

Maybe the DSOrganize isn't working because your card is having problems writing? Those sound like pretty odd problems.

Ok this is what I just tried with DSO.

I went to a drunkencoders website, downloaded the latest dldli file for supercard one sdhc, and put it in the resources folder.
Everything still wouldn't work...
Right after I saved a scribble pad picture, it would say no files.
So I went into the DSO directory, under scribble, and clicked it.
And guess what...it picked up one of my dsmaps cache picture files???

So I do another, and it said it couldn't open it.

So now I just tried deleting the whole directory to start fresh, and it won't delete the 'cookies' folder because it says the directory is not empty.
So I tried cutting, no use.

I'm thinking I should just format it?
I could backup all my .sav files and the homebrew, and firmware files, shouldn't be more than 100 mbs, I have the ds roms as zip files on backup.

I had similar problem you described (pics wont save) and my method solved it.

Yeah, it sounds like your card is corrupted.  DSOrganize tends to do that when writing to the card (it uses an older version of the card reading/writing library which has more bugs).  I'd suggest backing everything up and reformatting.

Just as a general rule of thumb, try to keep a recent backup of your entire card on your hard drive somewhere if you've got the space.  Even more so if you regularly use DSOrganize, as like I said it's common for it to screw up the filesystem somehow.  Usually the errors are very minor and can be fixed by the CHKDSK, and in theory the bugs that made it completely trash the filesystem are now gone, but it never hurts to be too safe.
