Well, i'm happy to see that you are continueing your work on this comparison.

I have something to suggest to add in your thread.

I have read too much times stupide arguments to try to explain the high price of the Cyclo DS Evolution all are false !

1 - cyclo DS evolution is also pruduce in china (cyclo is an european firm but the cyclo is made in china like all other linkers)
2 - cyclo don't have more memory than the DS One, look at their chipset to be sure of that :

to the left the cyclo DS Evolution,  to right the Supercard DS One.
Description of those chipset :
The cyclo DS evolution :
- Actel proAsic 3 -> 1Mbit of memory
- flash memory of 1Mbit (SST39VF010).
- flash memory of 16Mbit (MX25L1605) this component contain the OS of the cyclo (the EDGE don't have this component, the OS of the EDGE is stored on the TF card)
- 24Mhz quartz. (no memory it's a timer)
total memory : 18Mbit

The Supercard DS One :
- the component just at the right of the TF slot is replacing the Actel proAsic 3 A3P205 of the previous versions of the DS One (contain at least 1Mbit of memory but i will not count it because i don't have the real reference of this component)
- SST39VF040 32Mbit of flash memory.
- N16T1630C2B (NanoAmp solutions) 16Mbit of SRAM.
- Super-condensateur 3.3V 0.22F (it's in french i don't know the english for that ^^ i suppose something like super-condensator but i'm not sure  )
- 24Mhz quartz (no memory it's a timer).
total memory : 48 Mbit (without the memory of the component replacing the proAsic)

As you can see the DS One contain much more memoy than the Cyclo DS Evolution.

The pictures of the DS One chipset are from a SC DS One v3, a lot of other chipset are existing on past DS One (and not only for v1 and v2).
Supercard change the chipset very often.

But all those revisions are containing more memory than the Cyclo DS Evolution.

So stop to give this reasons to try to explain the price of the Cyclo.

You can add a chipset part.

In this part you could also add :

The clean mode :

Cyclo DS Evolution don't have any clean mode, if a recent game don't work you have to wait for an update of the firmware (the cyclo DS Team is really reactive but it's not a good point for this linker).
On Supercard DS One you only have to stop the patch mode and you are in clean mode, all the game work in this mode, of course you have to wait for an update to use the patch features (reset, cheats...) but the game work.

Thanks to his memory the DS One have a clean mode while the Cyclo DS Evolution don't have any clean mode.

Alright, I just got my own CycloDS (and to my dismay, DSi came out >_>). It is slightly better than SCDS1, I thought think it is worth the $20+.

I dont understand what makes the Cyclo so expensive compared to DS ONE... The metallic box?

Maybe they are charging you for the website and forum support they have, compared to the few comfusing guides and not so useful forum SuperCard have Cyclo have a good one. I just had to translate and made guides in spanish for the basic and not so basic features in DS ONE, and that only to help some people. But anyway you can find help anywhere googling for it so dont worth the almost twice price of a DS ONE... Like someone said you can have a 4GB  card for that extra money.

What i dont like in the DS ONE is all these nonsense options in the top menu bar, almost all for use the SC lite or SC rumble but these slot 2 cards cost is bigger than the DS ONE as to buy just as accesory. Thats why I got the EZFlash 3in1 and use it with GBAExploader or GBAldr, Opera Browser and rumble games. You should have the option to disable all of these menues or have it in a start menu like the edge (i think that one has a start menu). Maybe all that stuff make it so slow. Anyway they didnt created a OS, just obtained the moonshell and used it so maybe that make the card cheaper but they should work on something better and faster.

I also edited the global.ini to have the files in the bottom screen, hide date bar and stuff like that but the guide I found here looks very interesting to cheat the OS and have a little more speed.
