Thanks blastar!

Site Admin could make you owner of the thread so you can
edit first post and continue JMR great work.

What do you all think of that?

Best Regards!

EDIT: SCDev could host your files as well since RapidShare is imposing
a "10  downloads" limit for not Premium accounts. Thus, i couldn't get
the file =[

Very impressive.
You are ahead of Advanscene now...  ;)

BTW, I noticed few points to update in ndsinfo.dat (old ones):
- Release numbers are reversed between 0694 and 0695
- Codes and ck16 are reversed between 1635 and 1636

Again, great thanks for all that work.

If its the roms not working, you're in the wrong place.  This thread is only for the cheats.  you'll need to find somewhere else because generally any talk of roms just aint allowed.

Great thanks for fixing and updating the Dat.
Concerning release numbers that were reversed, I'm affraid that "Save size" also are...  :-[

More generally, I found that "Save Size" were regulary refreshed on Advanscene databases, but less in ndsinfo.dat ...  :'(
Whith "NDS Info Editor V0.6" on ndsinfo.dat, you could refresh sizes by importing them from file such as "ADVANsCEne_NDScrc.xml".
Last time I did it, more than 290 "save sizes" were updated.
But I don't know if Advanscene is the best reference for that kind of info ? It's up to you!

And thanks again for the work.

"my" ndsinfo.dat is based on JMR's "2921"... normaly this savesize-changes are "downsized" eeprom-saves (512kbit -> 64kbit -> 4kbit) and will not affect gameplay or gamesaves. maybe i will add a "compare" feature to my app!?

   ndsinfo.dat (3165)

i can't find a download for "NDS Info Editor V0.6"!?!? :o

superuser

Scdsie v0.6 was recently available here:
http://download2.gbaopan.com/2ddf8c482b6c42d8973f07960917f75d.gbp?supplierID=177865

You can export/import ndsinfo.dat to/from XLS and refresh ndsinfo.dat using Advanscene XML dats...
Easy to compare, using XLS, before and after a refresh...

You'll see that many save sizes were probably wrong or missing in the beginning and were update by advanscene.
Sometimes downsized, sometimes not.

Thanks again for new v3165.

As I already wrote, here is a link to v0.5 and v0.6
I wasn't able to download v0.6 the time I posted that message, but the day after the download of that file worked without problems

@jmr
Have you decided to update the dat file again or what? I saw that you edited your message by removing your December the 2nd statement..
I hope so.. anyway thanks again for the work you did and the time you spent in it ;)

ive had some real life stuff going on over the last couple of weeks
but ive just updated the ndsinfo.dat & the chinese cheats i havnt the time to translate the chinese cheats to english
but you can easly take the txt file & use google to translate it if you want it
ill try & find the time to do it but i cant promise

the NDS Info Editor's is a trojon so i would not advise using it
if you follow the threads about it on the chinese forums over the last year they all say it has suspicious code inside it
also sin sins web site trys to highjack your browser & install malware according to firefox

I read some chinese discussions regarding the NDS Info Editor, and if I remember correctly the author said it was due to the UPX packer, and some antivirus programs detected it as trojan. Anyway I checked it with some antivirus programs (NOD32, Kaspersky, ...) and noting got detected, and if it has malware strings in it my Firewall will hijack them..

I hope your real life problem aren't serious, it's just nice to see you active again (ATM I'm creating the .dat file by myself by integrating only the games I have, and the SCDSOne menu also sped-up a lot, I don't need you to update it again, as I said it was only nice to see you here)

One question jmr, can you (or myBlue) provide me or post a link to the cheat files converter Slingshot provided you? It would help a lot to manage cheats if you'll still have problems or no time to update them..
Thank you anyway for the present the past and the future ;)

This reminds me of my Flash2Advance Ultra, in which the gigantic game database was basically abandoned by the F2A team after GBA rom #1500 or so.  Yay for manually editing a database file in a hex editor to get a new game to run correctly!

(of course, there was a fan like JMR who added tons of games to the database himself, for which I'm eternally grateful).
