QuoteUpdate(2005.09.20):SuperCard Can be used on GBM

Important: From the user reported and our tested report. SD version totally can run on GBM. But CF version which selled before August have problem run on GBM. CF version which selled after can totally run on GBM. This is GBM changed some hardware design make this problem on SuperCard.

so supposedly the problem only affected older CF supercards.  Maybe you should contact the ioffer seller, and let them know that it won't work in your micro.  no need to mention that you have another device to play it on.  just see if they would mind exchanging it for a new one.  You could let them know you've tried it on a GBA SP and it worked (so they know it's not a problem with your SD card).  just a suggestion

I have sent a message to the technical support at supercard.cn. Hope they help. I think that is a better first step, as i doubt the seller could supply a newer SC than 10-2005... this is just one month ago, so is quite "fresh"...

Thanks again.

Hi i can verify 10-2005 Super SD version works fine. Using Kingston 512mb sd card. I also am planning to purchase 1gb sd kingston this friday.

by the way, you mentioned the "quality control sticker" was from october 2005.

If you are talking about the sticker that covers the screw hole on the supercard, I don't think it's a 'quality control' sticker.

I don't know if it's different in China/HK, but where I'm from (singapore), and in malaysia too, the VENDOR marks the month and year on the sticker when he sells it.

For instance, when i've bought pirated GBA game carts (before i had flashcarts), and the save battery went dead, the vendor checks to see what date is circled.  if it's in a reasonable amount of time, he replaces it for me for free.  Maybe the sellers I've bought from do it differently than others, but this is the info I have.

Also, the official information states that it is the CF version that has a problem.  So maybe your issue is completely random and different.

That is exactly what i meant by "quality sticker", the one covering the screw hole. I'll be checking with the vendor, as the technical help on the official SuperCard page seems to be "missing". They don't answer my question about that matter.

Thanks for your info. It's been a great help.
