Hello first of all. I dont know if i should have just revived the old topic(witch in my opinion should have been stickied if it matters) but i am very curious about something i read recently about the ysmenu. I read you can also use the r4 with the ysmenu with the dstt cart and i was wondering if i could run the r4 software in my sc sd one sdhc's ys menu? If it could be done could somebody show me how? Thanks.

jmr

you can run YSmenu on a R4 you cant run the R4menu on a scdsone & why would you :tard:

i read that it has some kind of video player named sakura or something... just curious about trying it out without actually getting an r4. Im saving up to get a DSi as soon as it comes out.

R4 runs MOONSHELL which is a varient of the SAKURA's media player made by the same developer!

you can run moonshell on SCONE or a DLDI version of SAKURA as an NDS file and use it as a media player ..... If your looking to use FLASH CARDS on DSi then HOLD out on it for now as so far NO FLASH CARDS work on DSi at all!

I know there will be a fashcart for the dssi soon enough, but im not looking for dsi flashcarts yet i just want it want it want it it looks so awsome... th only thing that would make it beter would be if i could put my phones sim card in it and use it as a phone too...

Kinda old thread but anyways as jmr said there is no way of running r4 firmware on the ds-1 and as for a dsi flash cart Acekard made the Acekard2i which works on the dsi.
Funny that Acekard was the first to make a cart for dsi...
