It's a shame that this game is slagged off so horribly and that it may do horribly in terms of sale.  I hope people keep an open mind though.  It's a very solid game (at least with the GC controller anyway).  It has issues, but they aren't totally game breaking (except perhaps balancing issues).  It has a good concept I think but it does need a bit more time under the oven with tweaks to make it even better.  I think most of the bad reviewers are from people who have already made up their minds about it.  It's not totally a fighting game.  It's a fairly simplified action game and I think that makes it all the more accessible.

Please keep an open mind.  Ignore the reviews, good and bad.  You may not agree with me, or you may not agree with the reviewers.  Rent it.  Try it out and see for yourself how it is.  I find that with Wii games, reviewers are horribly unreliable for anything.

To those who have tried it, how is it for you?  I didn't like that it insists on the GC controller if it's plugged in, but I didn't like plugging out the controller just to try the Wii remote controls so I don't know if it's been horribly implemented.  GC controller works fine though, and plays pretty good with it.

this isnt the first game to do that actually, i know for a fact DBZ budokai tenkaichi 3 and sonic riders zero gravity do this as well, dont know if every gcn controller supported game does this or not.

as for trying the game itself i havent gotten the chance yet but a friend of mine said it wasnt as horrible as he was expecting it to be

You are right.  Also DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2 does that too and it's just freaking irritating that dev studios do that.

CV: Judgment isn't bad.  It isn't the greatest, but it's just right up my alley and I hated the SotN-vania games, so it works out great.
