mario kart problems

has anyone else had any problems with mario kart ,after you turn off and on it tells you that the save data could be corrupt and it will erase and when it does this it just hangs ,if you power off and on you get the normal warning about online play and you hear the audio but then get black screens .
and have to reload the game on the sd card.

The save patching is off. The only way to get this game to work perfectly is to use a 2mbit ds game in the slot and save to DS.

There is a link to a patched CF save floating around--im not sure where offhand but it shouldnt be too hard to find.

You can use that save for SD or CF and it will work fine without using a cart in the slot, thats what I did anyway and I dont have corrupted save problem anymore.

the cf save method doesn't work, the problem only occurs with sc sd

SD can use the CF save file and it will work fine.

I have a SD and that is what I did...

the method works fine for wifi (saves records, name and decal) but singleplayer data is erased on bootup -that's what it does for me anyhow...

I've got the opposite problem on my SC SD..

It saves my single player profiles fine.
But.. after I enter a friend code, when I reboot it says there's corrupted data in the save file - proceeds to then delete corrupted data, and the friend codes are gone. Single player stuff is still there though.

A couple of times though, after putting in the friend code, I rebooted the unit and it came back up without incident; no corruption, friend code was still there.. that worked for two reboots before corruption started up again..

Also, i don't know if it's related, but I was booted off the wifi network twice last night.. don't know if they were having problems or not, or if they're catching on.. guess time will tell.

Wierd how we're all experiencing different symptoms..

Not that it truly matters.. I'll be picking up the cart soon enough..
