Any chance of anyone uploading the CF save to tryit on the SD card
I got MK to work this way

but are you even getting to a menu screen or anything on sims 2? if you are only getting 2 white screens, then a different save file will not help. I am 99.99% sure of this! :wink:

And I'll add the extra .01% to sneef's. Nothing in the s-ram will changethe fact that the CF version has apparently gained a a fairly good speed up while the SD version has gotten none.

Compare the CF version being able to watch the video in castlevania much better this version then the SD version can (I still get identical performance as last version, which is very slow and eventually causes a lockup)

Wait till the official downloads come back on, and try redownloading the updates. It seems that the wrong ones were put up for sd.

Sims 2 works and saves fine for me on SC CF with Flashme and Mario Kart in the DS Slot

Well... so far someone has said that currently the SD version of the conversion software out isn't the right one... don't remember who said it, or where they got their info... I think I'll remain guarded untill the main site coes back up and we can get confirmation one way or the other.

i'm so tempted to buy a supercard CF just to make sure i have better compatibility. but i already have 2 supercard SDs (mine and my wife's)... hmmm..

Yeah me too... the only problem is I'd have to get a bigger CF card as the largest I have around my house is a 64mb. Still it might be a small price to pay if it's going to have so much better compatibility.

The initial SD release on the official site (2.43) was the wrong one, but subsequently there was another version released (2.431) which i grabbed. still having issues. Are you saying that somebody said that 2.431 is also not the proper release?

just wondering.. before i go and spend 70 bucks on a supercard CF and CF card :wink:

I probably will just wait it out anyway...

[edit] haha.. me too. I have a 64MB CF from my nikon camera... but i've been wondering if CF supercard would surpass SD at some point based on the bitstream of CF vs. SD.

Someone said somewhere on this forum... but I'd take it with a grain of salt. I too have 2.431.

Would have been nice if Romman or someone else had warned everyone before hand that it'd be the CF that was getting all these results. Us SD users wouldn't have gotten our hopes up so high.

Hopefully someone will come forward with an official explaination.
