Have SC One and Just got SC Lite

Are there any FAQs about having both? I'm wondering if I can have the SC One in the slot 1 and the SC Lite in the bottom and be able to play GBA games without having to switch back and forth. I only have one micro sd card and was wondering if I should buy another to put in the SC Lite.

If anyone could tell me how to link the two so I wouldn't have to switch, I'd appreciate it. Or if anyone has tips if they are using the same hardware.

While you can launch *.gba files directly from the SCDS menu, this isn't recommended because you will not have the ability to save.  Thus, it's best to keep your patched *.gba files on your SC Lite's microSD card and launch them from its menu.  Get a different microSD card for the SCDS and put your DS games on that.

You can take advantage of having both carts inserted at once though.  For instance, you can use the SC Lite's RAM with the Opera DS web browser, and you can load a GBA game into the RAM before launching a DS game for special linkup capabilities (such as with the Pokemon transfer system).

did that ever work? the pokemon transfer system... not that supercard's gba ability was (great) or anything. (in fact it sucked. >.>)

There's a post somewhere here on SCDev detailing how to get it to work, but I don't know exactly where it is.  It involves using the clean GBA rom with its save file padded to a certain size (128 KB I think), then pre-loading the GBA file into slot-2 RAM before launching the DS Pokemon game.  The advantage is that since the GBA save file is never written to, you can keep your Pokemon on the GBA game even after "transferring" them to the DS game.
