The CD-ROM thing is only for PCE games, not Windows games.  METEO is a commercial product and as such I probably shouldn't link to it, despite its age.

SNES emulation isn't that bad on the GBA, but there is no sound for any games.  Speed can usually improved by speedhacking, but you're never going to get sound unless you upgrade to a DS.

For Atari, you may be thinking of http://gbaemu.dcemu.co.uk/gba12600.shtml but I don't think they ever offered a download for that.

EDIT:  Yeah, it seems there were never any actual releases, as you found out.  There is Atari Anniversary Advance, which has a few classic Atari arcade titles (Asteroids, Centipede, Missile Command, Breakout, and Battlezone) but I don't know anything about a collection of 2600 games.  There might be one, I just don't know about it.

Here is one such title:

Activision Anthology

Here is a list of all 55 games included in the collection: Barnstorming, Baseball, Beamrider, Bloody Human Freeway, Boxing, Bridge, Checkers, Chopper Command, Climber 5, Cosmic Commuter, Crackpots, Decathlon, Dolphin, Dragster, Enduro, Fishing Derby, Freeway, Frostbite, Grand Prix, H.E.R.O., Ice Hockey, Kabobber, Kaboom!, Keystone Kapers, Laser Blast, Megamania, Oink!, Okie, Oystron, Pitfall!, Pitfall II, Plaque Attack, Pressure Cooker, Private Eye, River Raid, River Raid II, Robot Tank, Seaquest, Skate Boardin', Skeleton+, Skiing, Sky Jinks, Space Shuttle, Space Treat Deluxe, Spider Fighter, Stampede, Starmaster, Tennis, Thwocker, Titlematch, Tomcat, Vault Assault, Venetian Blinds, Video Euchre, and an unnamed prototype that's like a cross between Frogger and Space Invaders.

Aspyr Media recruited Bradford W. Mott, the creator of the personal computer Stella Atari emulator, to write the underlying code for the compilation.

I got another response from DealExtreme, they said there was a delay in shipping my new Card. I saw that was sometimes the case before I ordered the 1st 1. But since I am a gamer with a low budget I have lots of patience. It took me over 1 year to get an NES cart for under $10.00 I wanted off Ebay (normaly went for over $15).

But in this case I actually am glad DealExtreme had to order another batch of SuperCards, perhaps there was a bad batch since I have found a few others with the same problem. And maybe a new batch will be better.

And yeah I really do have a large NES cart collection, thats why I am excited about putting NES games on my SuperCard. I also collect controllers for my NES. Different kinds of controllers.

Here is my page with my collection of NES controllers, with pics of all of them:

http://www.kingdom-gospel.com/accessory.html

and a list of most of my NES carts. The page is out dated and I probably have 6 or so more not listed:

So as you can see I am a huge fan of NES and really looking forward to playing some NES ROM's on the SuperCard. Once I get a new car, mine broke down and selling it. I plan on selling some stuff on Ebay, and getting my son a GameBoy SP with the new brighter screen, and will use his old one myself. Right now I am using a GameBoy Advance with no back light. Gonna sell it on Ebay. His younger brother got a brighter screen GBA SP at Christmas, so he wants one.

Well Deal Extreme sent another email telling me of more delays. But once again I knew of this possibility. And am glad to wait. Hopefully not much longer.

I also found another review of different Flash Cards for the GBA:

EZFlash dismissed

Well actually it’s a comparison between Supercard Vs. M3 SD perfect, because EZ-Flash IV SUCKS! There’s absolutely NO SUPPORT from the EZ-Flash team. Sure, compatibility is 100% and quite impressive (with hacked firmware: 1.72RESET) But its still in early stages of development and has been abandoned.

the reviewer went on about other details. Finding stuff for the SuperCard is hard enough, and its still in development but not the EZFlash, so that puts me off a bit, and thinking finding resources might be harder.

But speaking about finding resources I found a download page for GBAMEDIA-eng. I haven't worked on this in awhile, but I think that is the program to make movies for the GBA on the SuperCard but the one posted at the SuperCard site is wrong. And downloading the one off the archived page won't open. The following one does open, but haven't used it yet:

Try this one instead, it has the exact same filesize and "last modified" date as the one I have on my computer that I've verified to convert working videos for the Supercard - http://web.archive.org/web/20060502133321/http://www.movieadvance.com/images/GBAMEDIA-eng.zip

Dunno why the link I posted on the PHWiki no longer loads properly.

DomaGB

yeah that one gives me the same Winzip error as the other one I tried. That it isn't a valid archive...however the one I linked to does not give that error. Thanks for trying though.

I might have copied the wrong url by mistake.  http://web.archive.org/web/20061117091558/http://www.movieadvance.com/images/GBAMEDIA-eng.zip worked for me as of 2 seconds ago.  Either way, you got the program, so it's all good.

DomaGB

Hey that one worked! Thanks a bunch!

Oh and more good news Deal Extreme sent an email stating my new SuperCard has been shipped. yeah!!!

DomaGB

I got my new Supercard in today. Loaded it with everything I had before except the firmware upgrade, and its working well.

I don't have the 4GB Micro yet, when I do I will post the details on the other thread.

They lowered the price again for the SuperCard, and btw, my replacement card is doing great. I decided to buy a 2nd one for my oldest son's B-Day. They are going for only $16.00 with free shipping!
