can the scds play mp3s randomly? how?

also it won't open a folder if there are more than a few files mp3s/games in it. what am i doing wrong?

and comicds won't work?

please help a new guy!

I'm not sure if it exists in the version of Moonshell modified for the SCDS menu, but with regular Moonshell you find the bit on the bottom screen that says "play mode" and change it from "normal" to "shuffle" or something similar.  Worst case, install 1.71 manually as described in the Guides section of SCDev here. 

Don't know about your second question.  For ComicBook DS you're going to have to be more specific than "it doesn't work"

i select ComicBookDS.sc.nds and the screen goes black until i turn the ds off.
the same happens when i try to open a folder with more than 10 or so mp3s or games in it.
i ended up putting my games on one card and mp3s on another without folders.
i assume i'm doing something wrong.

As for ComicBookDS you dont need the .sc.nds version of it because the SCDS1 will auto patch it so just use the ComicBookDS.nds I believe the .sc.nds versions were for the slot 2 supercards. As for your problem with folders I would reccomend reformatting your card and trying again. That happened to me once where I couldnt open my games folder and I just backed everything up and formatted the card. When I copied everything back it was all better. Hope this helps.
