Hi, I've just got a supercard sd >gba adapter thingie and I am ultra baffled!  :o I;ve used the supercard software on a ton of gba rom files, put them onto a micro sd card (in its adapter to make it a normal sd card size) and Im now completely stuffed! :tard: :ticked: :'(

I have being trying to get the games (on the card) to work like mad and my DS lite doesn't want to list them or anything! Sure it knows they are gameboy games (well it starts with the gameboy titles on the ds itself) then just plain white screen, no menu, no list, nothing, just a white screen! Call me a dumbo but have I missed something? I know when I've used an R4 you just copied a few files to the sdcard and it made a menu thingie appear but is there something similar with the supercard????

Also do I need one of these superkey thingies? I don't have one and I was never advised to get one either when I bought it!! is this why its not working??????

thanks in advance (and soz if this isn't where to post newbie questions!)

The Superkey is needed if you want to play DS games, as it tricks the DS into booting the Supercard into DS mode.  For GBA usage it does nothing.

I honestly can't tell what you're asking.  You say it shows the names of the games, but then say that it doesn't?  Can you get to the Supercard menu or not?

I think he or she means that they boot the SuperCard from the DS menu and the GBA Splash Screen comes up but then leads to a white screen.

If so that probably means your using an SDHC card in your slot 2 SuperCard. Meaning a 4GB memory card or higher. If it is an SDHC card it wont work because the SuperCard SD wont support SDHC

yep solar, seems I got taken for a ride with the info on using the supercard! The seller I got it off said it could read 16 gig micro sdcards! damn I was pulled in with that! That'll teach me not to do proper research first! Thankfully, had a 2 gig sdcard and it worked fine first time! Ah well, newbie fowl up 1! (never again though!)

Ta for the info dan, I got well confused reading all this about people buying a supercard and a superkey and got confused but now I get it... taaa  :) :tard:

What I was asking about was basically, why I was getting the gameboy splash screen, then just a white screen and no menu or anything, just white screen! Thankfully though, solar figured what I meant and gave me the answer... taa for the info on the superkey thingie tho that may be useful for confus... erm, helping other people I know who want to go this way and have left it to me to work it out!!!  :D :tard:

Taa to you both, without your help I think I would have bought more stuff than I needed and wasted money!  8)

Glad I was able to help you get it workin. Yeah the SuperCard SD can only go up to 2 GB while the SuperCard DS One SDHC can accept SDHC cards. If you dont mind attempting to flash your DS then you wont need a SuperKey. You can just flash it if you still have your R4. BTW 16 GB? You lucky, lucky, man lol. I just use 8 GB on my Slot 1 and 2 GB on my Slot 2.
