I really like this game, but I think it's a case of it could never live up to the hype that was built up for it. The graphics are easily the best on the Wii, and I think the sound is too. The voice acting is pretty weak though. What gets me is that even though the graphics are really top notch (for a Wii game) some simple stuff quickly reminds you it's still a Wii game. Enemies can hide behind GLASS billboard thingies, and if you shot the glass billboards, THEY DON'T BREAK,lol. Shooting glass and shooting steel give you the same damn results in this game. I mean one of the first levels they put you an airport surrounded by glass and you can't even shoot any of it out, WEAK! Also the enemy AI is laughable, and the story line is pretty generic. I have really enjoyed it though, lol. The controls are nice and tight, not one complaint there. I guess I was hoping for a good story to go along with the good graphics and sound like Resistance 2 for the PS3 or Halo on XboX360. Even though it looks this nice I would venture to say that Metroid Prime 3 is still the best Wii first person shooting game. It's definitely a must have for Wii owners, but barely. Atleast the ground work is laid down with the graphics and sound so that hopefully the inevitable squeal will be better story and AI wise.

It's alright. :)  I treat Conduit is a great tech demo.  If they have WOWed people with graphics and tight controls, this bodes well for Grinder and that Gladiator game.  ;D

I get tired of pointing the Wiimote at the screen when playing games like Metroid Prime 3 and The Conduit on the Wii. It's not comfortable or accurate like when using a mouse or an analog stick.

I rest my elbows on my knees.  This minimizes the fatigue to practically zero.  And for me, I cannot play a shooter with an analog stick.  Might as well tell me to jump from a building.   ;D

I rest my arms/elbows on my knees or lap too.  I still tire of aiming the Wiimote at the screen constantly. Analog stick is much better to me.  A mouse is even better.

Is the wii motion plus required to play this game like wii resort or is it just recommended?

anton

This game does not support Wii Motion Plus.

I've played the first two levels, and I think it's good.  Controls are great although the 180 turn mapped on up on the d-pad is a bit far.  Haven't tried customizing the controls. :)
