Update on this ...

from the EU PLAYSTATION BLOG ..

VidZone, which will be available free from PlayStation Store on June 11th, provides unlimited access to thousands of streaming music videos and the ability to create unlimited playlists, all on your PS3.

They will be Initially,  launching VidZone in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Italy, France, Spain and Germany!

UPDATE on this again ... this should arrive today when the PSN store updates ..usually between 3pm and 5pm GMT 

for those Australians out there wanting Vidzone this unfortunately means it will be the June 12th by the time you get it

so........ it`s finally launched ...whts it like?  .....

ok so finally got this up and running!

its not bad but not great they need to optimize the search by genre it freezes for ages before being usable and they also need to allow me to use my PS3 keypad for text searching instead of up and down on the thumbpad

works quite well advert supported but not even visible when you press SELECT to go fullscreen

searching is a pita as mentioned above that needs a little work and speeded up and allow to use PS3 keypad or keyboard entry would make typing a search far easier then the clunky up down left and right of the dpad!

adding to a playlist is quite straight forward press triangle add to playlist (you can name play lists too to whatever and the number of play lists is infinite!)

overall its pretty good and hardly any lag at all only on startup it takes ages to update new feeds and the search takes a while as its like Intellisense it starts searches as you put the letters into the search bar if you hesitate and it becomes a pain to try beat it!
