For all you out there that want to use Project 64 for playing N64 games on the PC, here is the alternative to the Adaptoid which allows use of an official N64 controller. In fact, this allows 2 controllers to plug in.

The original adaptoids are going for over $100 on ebay (one went in the UK last week for £53).

If anyone is interested they are less than $20 on US ebay, item 200345827377.

Reported to work just as well as the original.

Wow. I had no idea Adaptoids were so valuable! I have 3 I bought direct from wishtech in 2001 

...the link on their site to ebay has one listed for $200...

Yes, that's because the newer (cheaper) replacements don't support rumble or saves to the game pack.

A lot of people lost money pre-ordering a new batch of Adaptoids (from ZJ net) that never got made!

I still got my original adaptoid. I really like the feature of saving to the gamepak and then using the save on my real N64.
