Main reason I avoid VIDEO in my reviews is that when you use them to learn from you have to mess about stopping and starting a video all the time to see whats going on/expanding to full screen usually ends up blocky and pixellated  and you also cannot print out a VIDEO guide to read later or follow step by step :(

Videos are sometimes useful for some people but not for me I find them awkward and fiddly to set up and get the right lighting and sound and really needs 2 people to do 1 to operate the camera one to do the review parts if you need to zoom in or change angles its hard doing it on your own :(

That's why in my original post I asked for both. I know writing reviews and making videos are two different tasks. If someone here are good at doing video, that'll be great help.

What Kkan said.  Video Reviews aren't that good because you can't put in a lot of info into them.  Step by Step instruction videos are better than Step By Step written instructions.  Because when you make the video the user actually sees you doing it and he understands more.

Lol kkan I like written reviews better too, easy to read and easy to understand.

For me, for now i will stick with just photos. My good miniDV camcorder died and now all i have to use is a dvd camcorder that i picked up for cheap for our last maui trip.
