I can see other people have also had some problems with this.. I've been using my supercard with my 512mb SanDisk CF for a couple of months now (purchased from hopebuy) without any problems, today it just died... the GBA SP tells me it can't find the CF, and when I try to open the CF on my computer it won't recognize it.

I can't find any damage to either the supercard or the CF, and when I try the CF on another SC (Yes, I have two), I just get the same error. Now I haven't been playing on low batteries or anything, so what happened?

I love my SC and I want it to work!

It sounds like the CF card is corrupt.

If you"re willing to format it, try doing so either by using "Computer Management" in the Control Panel, the command prompt, or a software. Explorer is not the only way to format a device or drive.

In order to figure out what happened, we need to know what is wrong.  Until we know for sure if the card is damaged or corrupt, we can't really help.  Once you've attempted various ways of formatting the card, and reported your success of lack thereof, we'll better know the status of your card.

EDIT:  BTW, did you order the CF from HopeBuy?  If so, you can contact them and tell them your situation.  They may replace the card for you.

I had the same problem.  I ended up taking mine back to Circuit City  :(

They let me exchange it without a problem, though.
