hello,

i just got a fresh new nintendo ds with a new supercard to it.

i formatted the my cfcard using fat32 and copied various files on it (games .gba, update file upgrade.scu)

but i always get a list in the supercard menu under lists.

can someone give me a hint please?

Quote from: "NTolerance"Format using FAT, not FAT32.

At the moment i only got my Pocket PC (Handheld PC) to Format my CF-Card (got no card reader in my pc).

With the program on my pocket pc i can select FAT12, FAT16, FAT32 and the cluster sizes. Any clues which settings i have to choose, or doesnt it work this way?

Thank you for your help!

I also did a self-test on my supercard, i only get this messages:
- Test SRAM
- SRAM ok!

Is this normal, shouldnt there be more messages?

Try FAT16 with the default cluster size.  I dunno about the Supercard test modes.

Are you running your ROMs through the Supercard software?

And what do you mean by "getting a list"?

LukeDogg

yeah im running them through the supercard software.

with list i mean the games list in the supercard menu, which is empty.

Hey,

I just got a Supercard to my SP and I'm having the same problem.
I format my CF (1GB Sandisk) on my laptop using a PCMCIA-CF adapter to FAT, then use the v2.3 software to convert a game and then copy it to my CF.

But when I put it in the supercard and boot my SP theres no files listed. All I can do is read Help and such in the meny.

Sometimes when I boot I only get a white screen, the meny doesnt even show.

When I try the CF in my PC or my PocketPC it works great and I can see the files.

Is the supercard faulty ?

your best bet is to try formating it on a different card reader if you can. it seems that the supercard doesnt like how some cardreaders/computers format the CF card
am the new way to go, I am the way of the future.

Use a different reader or computer.  If I format my CF cards on my main computer I can't see the games.  If I take the same cards and format them on my laptop they work fine.

I tried that using a kingston usb cardreader on my main comp instead of my laptop, still no go.
