so i got a new blue ds (new firmware) and a real mario kart ds game.
i just need to know if i'm gonna do this right.

1.  get a passme2 (with mario kart .sav or whatever it is on it)
2.  use it to flash the ds with flashme v5 (stick screwdriver in it, short it out)
2b. sell the passme2
3.  get a supercard sd - where is the cheapest place?  ive only seen them for about $60
4.  put whatever i want on the sd card
5.  put the supercard in the ds (with the sd card in it)
6.  have fun

is that really it?  can it be that simple?
or am i missing something really huge here...

You need the Supercard to run the program to flash the DS.

You might want to keep your superpass... some games will not work with FlashMe (i.e. Sims 2 and Narnia) but works with SuperPass.

I agree with kepping the passme2. What happens if god forbid one day your DS croaks? Maybe by that time you will not be able to purchase a passme2. Might as well keep it so you can flash another unit in the future if needed.

the new game RTC: shogun empires also requires passme/superpass.. seems the list may be growing. I'd hold on to the passme for many reasons.
