I have been speaking to my local games shop here in Beijing. Seems like they will have the M3 + PassKey available this weekend.  I will take my laptop to the shop to test before I buy. I will post my findings here.

That sucks. I know since the olympics in 2008 has been declared, Beijing has been cracking down on pirate stuff. I know in other places like Shanghai, Guang Dong, and Shen Zhen, the M3 is already all over the place. But then again, those areas are a bit more law-less when it comes to piracy.

Of course, you are correct about the southern provinces being more associated with piracy. However, whilst the government in Beijing has stated to the international community that it will be cracking down on copyright theft, there are many places here to pick-up your latest movies, games, copying equipment and fake goods such as Rolex watches and clothing. The truth is, that whilst people in China earn a lot less than thier western counterparts, copyright theft will continue to flourish, even in Beijing. It's just a matter of visiting the places locals frequent.

All I meant was that these pictures aren't from the official M3 site, so there's a chance the final retail version won't look like this...
