White screens after FlashMe

I followed the instructions listed here

And I still can't boot NDS files.  They simply load up a white screen.  I have a Silver DS bought in October in Canada, so I don't know whether the firmware is new or not.  I have a SuperCard SD and a SuperPass with which I performed the FlashMe with.  Everything flashed fine, but I still can't run NDS files.  I have a cheapie Impact brand 256 card in the SuperCard.  What might be the problem I'm running into?

Do you get a white screen with everything? Or just when you are trying to load games?

Is your supercard firmware updated to the latest version (1.53) as well as your patcher software the highest it can be (2.433)?

Some games boot to the point of showing the Gameboy logo then freeze or just go to a white screen afterwards.

Quite possibly not.  How do you do this?  I see the files in the download section, but have no idea how to put them to use. I tried looking for some tutorial on the forum, but didn't find anything specific about it.
