ok guys, i was glad when i bought my supercard and all but the only downside of it is that battery life sucks. im using a regular old gameboy advance (with rechargeble batts) and a supercard sd 1gb.

i dunno if it is just be but is there something wrong with my batteries? it can only last 1 and a half hour to 2 hours. Maybe i kept overcharging my batts? will it perform better if i use gba sp instead of the regular one based on battery performance? and can i overcharge my sp if i had one?

no its not your batteries, the supercard sucks the power out of batteries very quickly.i own a ds and it last about 6 hrs. ing gba mode but in nds mode 3-4 hrs.

your gba has less battery power so that means less platy time.

you will most likely get better performance out of the lithium ion battery that comes with the GBA SP, than with your rechargeable AA batts.. i'm assuming they are (at best) NiMH.  they are probably less than 2000mA, right?

in any case, you'll probably have a better experience with the SP.  DEFINITELY better than the 1-2 hours you are getting now.
