I have yet to flash my DS however reading the info on this site I'm quite happy to take the plunge. Before I do so can you help with some questions please. I know its a pain having so many flashing posts but I just cant find this last bit of info.

1. I have played mario kart allready with superpass. Will flashme still write to the file ok.?
2. How can I tell the flashme file I download will be version 5. I will get the installation file from here http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/  is this the latest version?
3. Can I just load version 5 straight on without going from 1234?
4. Do I still need an original game in the DS slot when I play games from supercard?

Thanks guys.

1. Yes.
2. Read the website. It says it's version 5 (future reference, that's the official flashme page and will ALWAYS have the latest version of flashme)
3. Yes.
4. No for 95% of games. Still one or two that might require a game in the slot (specifically those game that require saving to DS)

Thanks for the quick reply on this one. Sorry about the V5 question. I have gone to that website a number of times and not noticed it   Must be going blind. 8)

No problems at all. We're here to help everyone. Just wanted to make sure you knew in the future that that website will always have the most up to date version (because there will be more versions lately I'm sure)
