Is it possible to use mario kart/tony hawks roms etc  with the online connection or do you have to use the original because i cannot seem to get any of them to work with a netgear wireless router.Any help would be much appreciated.Thanks :?:

Works fine with a Thomson router, tony hawk, mario kart and animal crossing, must wrong setting on your router, check nintendo routers compatibility.

yes i have checked on there and it is compatable but still no luck.Am i doing something wrong?

It may be your router itself. Have you checked nintendo's official compatibility list to make sure your router is on the list?

yes it is on there and supported but will not work.Its driving me nuts

Could you please elaborate on the problem? What kind of error does the DS give? Can you connect to the router? Can you see the router? Are you using WEP encriptation?

i updated the router firmware and now i can connect.See ye online peeps
