Do I need a Passme2 if I just want to play, without FlashMe-ing?

I'm referring to the pink Australian DS that comes in the Nintendogs pack -- my sister wants one, and I'd like to know if I need to buy a Passme2 or I can just use my regular passme.

You will need the passme2 to flash it, yes.

yes if you do not want to flash your DS you will most likely need a passme2, however, if you do already have an original passme it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. You never know, us aussies always get the crud so perhaps its has the mysterious old firmware on it.

no.. all nintendogs bundled DS have the new firmware.  you will need passme2 whether you want to run flashme or not.
