Hi, I have just tried to set up my sisters DS with supercard and superpass and to my horror it did not work :x  It is the silver version which to my knowledge did not have the new firmware upgraded. The DS with superpass and card just boots to a white screen so I'm sure this is the problem...Do you agree. I brought 2 DS's around the same time and they are working fine.

If this is the case I will be sending it to the following http://www.cheapmod.net/item--DS-Firmware-Flash-within-UK--dsflashuk Has anybody else used this company for this service as I would welcome your views.

If the superpass doesn't work, then yes it's because of the new firmware. No DS is exempt... lots of silver ones have been produced with the new firmware just like every other color.

As for that site, I have no experience with them.

was this the silver metroid bundle? from what you've said i don't think it was, therefore yes it must have new firmware.

other people have stated that they've used the site you listed and got it back next day so i think its pretty reliable.

Hi, Thanks for your advice. I tried another supercard and this works so the actual card damaged/faulty. I will have to contact the seller to try and resolve.
Do you know if a EZF card with straight forward GBA.roms unpatched work in the DS the same way as they do in the GBA?
