hi!! just downloaded the romimfo.dat file to patch games that didn't work. but they still don't work (gba) how do you replace the existing one?

Put the updated rominfo.dat file in your Supercard software program directory, which by default is C:\Program Files\SC.  Make sure to patch your ROMs again after updating the rominfo.dat file.

Do you know if when you install the new SC software 2.44 over the old SC software does the rominfo file get updated automatically.

The installer should overwrite any old files that need updating.  You can always check the dates on the files in Windows Explorer if you want to be sure.

All this time I've been putting the rominfo.dat on the root of the sd card - so let me get this straight - It goes into the sc folder in program files? (default install location) And not in the root of the sd card or does it go there as well?

Thanks

SC program folder only.
