Hi All,

I just bought my first GBA with the new backlit screen and have a Supercard SD on the way. Been spending the waking minutes between shifts - and posts converting my files with the software downloaded from here in preparation.  The Faq I dug out of all the engrish ones online said that GBC was not compatable-but the review was for 1.50.  I noticed that on the info page here it lists .gbc as compatable with fimplay? Has GBC become playable with the onboard emulators in a recent firmware upgrade? This would be truly be exciting for me, since while I love the GB mono games and NES I was hoping for some Zelda oracle of ages/seasons. Any helpful knowledge would be extreemly appreciated.

Thanx,
BA SP+Supercard SD+ 2G 150x SD

There is in fact a GBC emulator for DS, but it has no sound.

There is no such emulator for GBA.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

What about Goomba, I had already run across it before NTolerance posted the link, the compatability is low, but I hear good things about it. And it is designed for the GBA. My original iquerie was if the the Supercard supported GBC natively with a newer firware patch than 1.5.

Goomba does not have GBC support. And no, supercard does not support GBC natively... you'd need a hardware interface to to change accessto gbc, and then you'd also have to alter the firmware to support displaying a menu in GBC... which it doesn't, and it's not possible for the average person to do.
