HI guys,

Just wanna get this right. I'm gonna get a supercard (SD) soon and if I flash my DS, do I still need to get a superpassme?

Just trying to keep the cost down cos I'm a poor student and I'm getting sick of the nintendogs game. >_<

if i understand this right, you will need passme me or a clone (expass, superpass) to flash your ds but i havent tried it yet so i can speak from experience

You need a passme/passkey/superpass once to flash your DS. If it's newer than August or so, you want one of the "2" versions. (I think SuperPass2 is out...)
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

I guess you mean you will have your DS flashed using a flashing service? Otherwise you will need passme to flash your DS in the first place.  I recommand just geting a passme2 or superpass2 and flashing your DS yourself.  It's easy, just don't turn the DS off until flashing is complete!  It's good to have it handy for those stubborn (very few) games that only play with passme inserted.  Passme is also needed to re-flash your DS in the case of bricking.  Use passme2+supercardSD+2G SD

Ohhh... so now I have to get a superpass2 instead of superpass?? Lucky I haven't bought anything yet.

Regarding to DIY flashing, I saw a video of someone flashing a DS. How am I supposed to know when the flashing is done when its lying face down?

Just out of curiousity. Is it possible to uninstall the firmware once you have installed it??

Where did u guys get all your stuff from?? I saw some on ioffer.com and its a bit cheaper than the ones from jandaman or linker4u.
