How so you know what firmware you have?

I got my super card a few days ago and all the games work fine but I'm still wondering what firmware I have  :?:

Diablo

Put one of the newer firmware's (v1.40-1.43) "upgrade.scu" file into the root directory of your CF card.  Boot your GBA, and the Supercard will list your current firmware version and the version of the firmware in the "upgrade.scu" file, and ask if you wish to upgrade to that firmware version (even if it's an older firmware).

Don't worry:  you can select no, and your firmware won't be changed.

Are you looking for SuperCard Firmware, or DS firmware?  If you are looking to find out your DS firmware, you could run dslinux, as it tells you what version your DS firmware is on boot-up...

inter4ever

well another way to know the supercard firmware version is to hold L+R and then power the GBA.this will start the self test and after some few A presses it will tell u the FW version.

This is for the DS firmware, not the SC firmware.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

Wrong. That checks the SC firmware and the topic is about the SC firmware.

"I got my super card a few days ago and all the games work fine"

I'm assuming he means on the supercard. He sees that all the games he put on it work fine but he wants to know what firmware his supercard is running as newer firmware supports more roms.

Whatever. People need to specify, not just say "the firmware". :|

AnalogMan

Oh, if it is the DS firmware, you can run FlashMe v6, it tells you your previous DS firmware and the original DS firmware. You don't have to install it after that if you don't want to, just don't hit the XBXB combo to continue.
