I've got 4 folders on the root of my SD card, and I'd like to have them listed in a particular order:
/DS
/GBA
/Software
/Media

So I tried putting a letter before the folder name, as in a - DS, b - GBA, but that doesn't work. It's not alphabetical, or by size... so what system does the SC use to arrange files?

did you copy them all on at once , because if I do it that way it comes out backwards.

I list my roms in folders alphabetically.  I have to put them on one at a time to have them be in a special order.

  D

It lists them in the order they are placed on the card. If you put a folder called ROMS and then a folder called HOMEBREW, that's exactly the order they'll show up as. Same goes for individual files as well.
