I have searched and done everything I could find on this and nothing has worked. I have formatted correctly I'm using a 128 Mb Sandisk CF Card. I put the rominfo file and UPGRADE file on the cf card and when it boots it gets to the splash screen it just stops like no cartridge is inserted. Any help is appreciated.

I have on ever used these files one at a time. I would do the rominfo file first then erase that off your card the load the update file.

Tried it both ways still no go. Any other suggestions.

I have tried this on two different gameboys so I know its not the gameboy. Could it be the SuperCard? I have also tried different cf cards too.

Try with no update files, if you still have the problem, then your supercard is broken

rominfo file goes into the SC folder that is in C: program files and not on the flash card.  Also try the self test  for SC.  Hold down buttons:  L  and   R  and then power up gba, hold the buttons untill after the gameboy logo disappears.  you will enter a test mode for SC press the A button to do each test for the SC.   when done press B button to go to the SC   menu.

I have tried the self test and it gets to the splash screen and stays there. The splash screen never goes away no matter how long I hold the L and R buttons. Does ther have to be certain files on the cf card for the self test to work. I think I have a bad supercard.
