Not quite sure what to make of this as I am new to all this and still awaiting the arrival of my passme2 and SC CF. I got this generic email from Alex at natrium42. Just thought I would post this as an fyi in case anyone was interested. I know nothing about Passkey but having things enclosed in a plastic casing seems like a good idea to this nub, lol.

==========================

Hello,

Thanks for ordering PassMe2. Your order has been upgraded to a Passkey
with PassMe2 code.
This has the advantage, that it's not longer a bare printed circuit
board, but electronics encased
in a plastic shell. Passkey is a PassMe clone, so it has all of PassMe's
advantages. It can be easily
reprogrammed (if necessarry in the future) -- but since I program it
with your choice of game support,
this is not needed. I evaluated Passkey extensively. It's solidly
constructed and never fails.
Unfortunately, the shipment of Passkeys will only arrive to me in about
one week. I will then reprogram
and ship your Passkey to you as soon as possible. I am really sorry for
the delay -- I was thinking
that some people would appreciate encased PassMe2. If you do not wish to
wait that long,
I can of course return your payment. Again, thanks for the understanding.

Happy Holidays!

does that guy respond to emails? cause want to know how long it takes to ship from where he is to new york

Neptune

He has a guy shipping from Canada as far as I know, he himself is in the UK.

If you need a Passme2 I can reflash these SuperPass's I have with your choice of game support. $24 including ship, ships from Tampa, Fl and USPS Priority

NeoShweaty

i would but i already ordered from him that is why i want to find out how long it takes and if he responds to emails

zektor

I ordered from him not too long ago. Yes, he is slow to respond to emails, but probably because he has a life outside of the Passme2

He is a good guy however, and a very well respected member of the GBA/DS dev scene. He won;t stear you wrong. I received mine rather quickly (from Canada to New Jersey in about a week) and it works perfectly. No complaints whatsoever.
