At first.. I got the hardware error.. so I patched it with the file from the Comp. List. I was able to run the game  then..but I still cant get the Saver patch to work..meaning I cant get the transfer save to CF function to popup. Any clues.

Did you apply the patch using the Supercard software?  Did you patch the ROM with the "Enable Save", Enable saver Patch", and "Enable Restart" options enabled?  If so, and you're still not able to use the LT + RT + SELECT + A combination to save, have you tried the QPC method to save?

Okay.. I'd patched the rom with the SC software and enabled all the stated options. Still cant use LT+RT method but QPC works.

Also.. SC found some CHT for it and they dont work in the game. I'm guessing thats due to patching since SC looks for the "Pure" image correct?

Looks like that may be a game which requires the QPC method in order to save...

I honestly couldn't tell you how the cheat functions work, as I've no experience testing them myself.  Have you tried importing the English cheat file in the EmuCheat package when patching with the Supercard software?

yes .. I'm importing the CHT file during the patching.. nothing though.

So you've tried the Supercard's cheat file, and the EmuCheat's cheat file, and neither are working?  And you're activating the cheats?  You need to activate them in-game by pressing LT + RT + START + A to access the cheat menu, then select the cheats you want to enable or disable.

I honestly don't know what to tell you, then.  I'm sure it's something simple and stupid that is required to get cheats working properly, we just need to find out what it is.  If I have time tomorrow, I'll play around with some games and cheats.

Yup.. I've been very good at following the directions. In DBZ:TLOG you cant even access the cheat menu..same issue as the save. I tried adding cheats to another game, Minish Cap, just to make sure I was doing it right. I was able to access the cheat menu but the codes didnt work, which I'm guessing is probably bad codes rather then the SC. I had to convert some AR cheat from CJ..btw where can I go to get some updated EmuCheats??..

Have you verified the ROM?  It seems like the ROM and your Supercard/CF are slightly less than compatible. :?:

As for where to find new cheats, I really couldn't tell you...

Will.. I'm assuming the a bad CHT code because in AR format it'll work in VBA.

.. I think I'm onto something. Using AR-RAW code seems to work. I've only tested it on Minish Cup but I got the Max Rupees and Health to work. I put the AR code into a CHT file..following the format of the other CHT files. When I imported the file I noticed that the address differ from what I have put on the file, the higher nibble at least, so I changed it back in the SC prg which made it work... dont know and dont really care right now..glad it's working and now must sleeeepppppppppppppp...
