Depends on where you get it from.

ratx

dslazy is only as reliable as the "sig" darkfader provided. It picks up possible bricking code in some homebrew - same as the commerical virus scanners. Its homepage is http://l33t.spod.org/ratx/DS/dslazy

ratx

dslazy will work fine for scanning commerical roms

its good to see you are cautous but you might want to take a step back for a minute and let everything you want to do soak in. the advice on here is the best you are going to get anywhere. all i can suggest is read read read.

And yet I seem to repeat myself in nearly every thread that cheerup posts in...

Anyways, if you don't trust dslazy, go get a real virus scanner and keep it up to date. It will also be able to pick up the bricker.

But as I said before... the threat is pretty minimal. I've yet to see the bricker occur naturally, and I haven't heard about anyone getting bricked in many moons.

Knock on wood...

And yeah, dslazy is really nice and trustworthy... it's a must for any DSer.

inter4ever

can any body please upload the file here or to any site(other than rapidshare because of some proxy problems) because the official is blocked by my isp

thx in advance

I haven't. Really, the easiest way would be to take the bricker, then pad it to the size of what the rom would be. Wouldn't be too hard to do it though. Just use nds tool to seperate the rom and replace the ARM7 and ARM9 bins with those from the bricker, pad the file to match the original.

Most people though download all of their roms from one or two trusted sources though. Most people aren't stupid enough to randomly try a rom from some link they've never heard of before.
