First you need to setup your router or AP
-Disable WEP or any other Secuity

Second Figure out what you IP is
-Go to Start Menu>Run>type CMD
then type IPCONFIG

should display your ip address

Setup DS2Key.bat
-Right Click DS2Key.bat and click edit
-Replace 192.168.1.100 with your IP
-Save and close

Run DS2Key.bat

Start up software on the DS
-press Coonect to an AP
-Search for an AP
-Pick your AP
-press UDP test and press accept
-edit the IP- input your pc's IP
-press  send
-Press the A button

should display /ba1 on DS screen
if it does then you are ready to go

I get to where it says ba1 on the touch screen but what do I do after that?

you are ready to go

go configure the control on any emulator like would with a normal control.

Koji

Whooo!! I got it working ^_^ this is awesome.

I hope next version they have an option to turn off the screens. Then you can play with the screens off to save power and you'll have an awesome wireless controller.

(edit) It also needs to be able to save your settings. That way you can set it up then just quickly load up your DS and play without having to worry about messing with settings each time you turn it on.

You sure you changed the ipaddress to that of your PC?

I couldn't get the test packet to send... but once I put in the IP address of my PC I just started pressing buttons and it worked flawlessly.

Deadmon

Got it to work the first time, and I say, this is AWESOME. :D

rocky

Okay I must of had the gateway wrong or something because I changed all the settings but now when I connect windows says their is a conflict with the IP or someting, how do I fix this?

rocky

If you use an outside firewall (rounter) then it won't effect security at all since it's all done internally on the network. Your router doesn't block sends between computers on the same network.

The bat file specifically tells the program your IP address, what UDP port you want to use, and what NDS buttons equal what keyboard button.

Windows firewall asked me if I wanted to keep the program blocked or not. I told it not to bother blocking it obviously.
