How do I update the firmware on my supercard?  I found the link on the site but no instructions were on the site and I searched before but didn't find any threads about it.

Thanks.

Put the bin file in the root of your SD/CF.  Start your DS in GBA mode and then select and run the bin file.

download the kernal software and put the file onto your SC and then start up ds with the SC inside and then select the file that you put onto the SC.  It will tell you which firmware you have currently and it will ask you if you want to update to the new firmware version in this case 1.60

Select yes. and that is it

Thanks.  I was thinking that was it but wanted to ask someone to make sure first.

Afterwards you can delete the file.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

Done it by now, had just wanted to make sure on here before going right at it.

Sadly part of the reason I wanted to do this was hoping perhaps the emulator had been updated and would run a game better.  When I play the game (NES) on my computer it runs fine, no sprites mess up, and all the text shows.  When I do it on PocketNES the text gets messed up now and then, is just replaced by blue and yellow pixels (text isn't even blue or yellow...) and some of the sprites go berserk when going through certain animations.  Pity.
