But when I played it I didn't see anything.

Does someone have the right settings for PCM, volume sound etc etc.

Scroll down. I wrote a guide for how you need to convert movies to work in moonshell.

That's very odd. What type of file are you converting? And do you happen to know what format the audio was in originally?

L.D.

It's a XVID movie.
Don't know what you mean with format audio. i know that the sound is in the movie. I tried (don't know how to spel that word) to select the audio but i can't because I don't have it separate from the movie.

hope you understand me :)

Is there anybody who has got the same problem?

When I put the XVID movie in dpgenc I get no image but great sound.

When I put it in TMPGEnc and play it on my pc first I get an image but no sound. So when I put that file in dpgenc I dont have sound.

I just don't get it. tried allot of things but I don't have a clue anymore.

never mind the way I sad it wil work just didn't work.

Video is far to big to be uncompressed in a video. Xvid is the video codec you have used in that file to make it smaller.

In the same breath, audio also needs compressed. Most files uses .mp3 for that, but there are some other audio codecs out there and one of those could be the problem. That's why I ask what your audio codec is.

L.D.

I really have no idea what the audio codec is. Maybe I understand you wrong.
Where must I look to see what audio I have?
Or do you mean the audiocodec on my pc?

Arrggg hate it that my english is so bad.

In your tutorial about moonshell I see that you entered (in the program TMPGEnc) the same .avi in video source and in audio source.
I can't select the same .avi in audio source. The program says it is unsupported.
How do you do that?

The movie I want to play on the NDS is called:
csi.ny.210.Jamalot.avi
Properties are:
video:
960x528
fps 23,976
kb/s 290,129
24 bits
XVID

Audio:
48 kb/s
48 kHz
16 bits
stereo

Maybe this info helps to give me an option how to get it right on my NDS.
If i do it the same way as in you tutorial I get imege but no sound.

I am trying the best I can to make it work and to understand everything. :(

L.D.

It works now :D
Got a tip from zektor to install ffdshow and it works so great.
