I just take the CF card out, put my DS in my case, it it works fine.

That can't be true.. the CFversion of the supercard self destructs if you take the CF card out. Even with it in, if you breath on the CF card too heavily the same also occurs.

note.. sarcasm aimed towards other posters, as I also have no trouble with my CF version and have never felt any danger of it  "snapping", but we are probably wrong in view of the hordes of posters complaing how theirs fell to pieces when their cat looked at it funny.
Yes I'm mad

im an SD man, why i hear you cry, well the cards are smaller and dont stick out the end.  And i see SD as the way forward (Kingston Pro Elite 66x)

Should things like this REALLY be judged on the merits of whether or not it survives if some unfortunate dumbass drops his DS?

I use CF for slightly better compatibility.  Had an SD first, and stupidly didn't know how to use the software properly to convert, and purchased the CF version, before eventually figuring out how to use the software.  Now I'm sticking with CF.

To the topic creator: you should have added "Both!", not "Neither!" in the choice.  This is a Supercard forum, chances are they already have a Supercard.

I use CF, wouldnt it be cool if someone relesed a compact size CF (Just for the supercard) that didnt stick out of the bottom!

What are you talking about? :?  First of all its used as a CF and second of all supercard can only support CF type I so it wont work, you would need some kind of adaptor to use on SD.

supposedly you can modify an m3 to take microdrives (by cutting it)... has anyone tried it with a supercard?

Coming from somebody who owns both (actually a few of each!) I personally always use the CF version. This is because of a few reasons. First, the SC CF is the same size itself (without a CF card in it) as a normal GBA cart. It is always in my DS, and I can put the DS in my safe case without removing the cart. You can't do this with the SD version. Second, I try ALOT of software. I am constatly adding and removing from the CF card. It is easy to remove and insert. I don't have to take the entire SC out to change cards...that is a major plus.

True, the CF card sticks out, but it doesn't feel like it is going to break or anything like some people say. I have no problems at all with it, and gameplay is not hindered in any way at all. The SC CF is built very well BTW, and fits into the DS nice and smooth. The SD version is a little "creaky" with the plastic, and it somewhat of a tight fit when putting it into the DS. This does lessen tho after pulling it out over time.

They are both great, and I own both of them because I like them both. They both have ups and downs (CF card sticks out...you have to remove the SC SD to change games..etc) but I personally use the CF version daily.

I have CF just because when I bought it SD wasn't released yet.

yeah, me too... and i also, as zektor said, have never felt that the card could break while sticking out.  i mean, you'd have to snap a cf card in half and i really dont see that happening.

.. I have a CF? I was Arguing against SD Users. And I bet SC will support Type 2 in the future. That's why i was all like.. "In your face."

Good Point. Maybe i should add that option. cause some people use this as an information source.

someday my DS feld down from veeery hight deck just on CF Cart (aerodynamics?) but it hadn't broke, instead lately my CF just died...
CF is very good for GBA games, you can just pull it out when you're playing and put it in when you want to save; with SD there isn't such option.
