when i try transferring all my GBA games to my FAT formatted, 512mb Ultra2 Sandisc card, either all at once or one game (and its files) at a time), after like say 300mb (although it changes) it'll say The directory or file cannot be created and wont let me copy anything else on to it, why is that?

FAT limit the size of root directory to 512 entries. If you want more files, you have to create directories.
