When converting a 700mb dvdrip .avi file to the supercard compatible file, how much space will that take up?

Never made a whole movie yet so I wouldnt know. It depends on the quality you want. My guess would be somewhere around 200-300MB's.

DVD rips are 800-1100kbps usually.

DPG files at best quality are usually 256kbps so you are looking at 3-4 times smaller.

-does a little basic math- My anime are about 24 minutes long, and they average a little less then 60 megs. That's 2.5 MB per minute... sooo for say a 2 hour long movie you'll be look at a little less then 300MB at top quality.
