My daughter and I had the same problem with Mario Kart and FIFA. My daughter had a non modified DS, and I had a FlashMe modified DS. We got things working only when my daughter hosted games with her DS using Passme+Supercard. If I tried to host a single card multi game with my modified DS, the games would crash after transfering. I guess this points to a problem with the FlashMe firmware? I have not tried this again with the latest FlashMe version.

As you can see, for me the only way they don't work is when sending SINGLE cart data to an unflashed NDS. Why? look below:

Flashme allows to transmit and receive unencrypted data, when nintendo blocked Wifime with it's last update, the unencrypted data will make a New firm NDS crash.

I agree with your statement, except both of our DSs came with pre-update firmware, and display green screens running the "firmware test" not yellow.  So, doesn't that indicate any modified DS is unable to host a single card multi-player game to any non-modified DS?  I will update my DS firmware to the latest version v6 to confirm this.

Quote from: "Kudaku"Flashme allows to transmit and receive unencrypted when i sent meteos from my V5 flashed DS to my friend's unflashed DS with single dl card play it worked perfectly

can you try that? have a flashed DS send Meteos (single card play) to an unflashed DS and post the results

Yes, i just tested Meteos and it does work for me too. (v5 firmware)

So, it appears any modified DS will have trouble with some games when playing single card muti-player with any non-modified DS. (not sure about firmware v6 yet)

The solution is to put passme+supercard into the non-modified DS and host the single card game from there.

Yes, that's right, now that I remember, I was able to play som NDS single cart games with a friend with an unmodified old firm NDS.

so the final conclusion is:
watch out for:
1. bad dumps
2. weak signals

Otherwise:
. have the hosting DS use superpass/passme (should solve any problems)
. try the games that i said are working and aren't working
. keep a real cartage game in DS slot
. update to V6 Flashme (or latest )

keep in mind:
.it appears any modified DS will have trouble with some games when playing single card muti-player with any non-modified DS. (not sure about firmware v6 yet)

working with a single flashed DS:
meteos
jump superstars
goldeneye
puyo pop

not working with a single flashed DS:
mario kart (will work if both DS are flashed)
mario 64

(i only tested those, so the list isn't final)

that list seems pointless though since ANY game should work with the host DS using superpass/passme

Remove tatakae, since it is not a single cart game. Also, games that work in multi cart mode should work ok with unflashed NDS.
