Check this site out.  It is ecost - 2G patriot for $99 - It says 133x transfer rate - 20MB/s on the package.

Don't SD cards wear out after awhile?  Seems to me like you'd want a smaller one at first in order to minimize the investment, especially if the possibility of having to replace it lingers ahead.
